The Sport-Thieme 6-part “Original” vaulting box is made of solid softwood with a high degree of dimensional precision. The surface and upper edges of the top section are covered with composite-foam padding and high-quality real leather to prevent injuries. To increase the stability and durability of the vaulting box, the corners of each section feature double dovetail joints. In addition, each section has mortise and tenon joints made of glue-laminated wood allowing them to be easily stacked. The wood surface of the vaulting box is very smooth and has a clear varnish finish. Both base feet are made of hardwood and have non-marking rubber caps. This increases the stability of the vaulting box and protects the hall floor at the same time. The cut-outs on each end make the large box quick and easy to move around. All vaulting boxes come with a cut-out for swivel castors as standard. These can be retrofitted as required.
