The top made of tarpaulin is low maintenance and washable. The sewn-on white stripe serves as an orientation aid, which the gymnast can not only see but also feel. This strip therefore helps users to perform their exercises cleanly, even without visual contact. The beam’s non-slip underside made of pimpled gym mat material provides even more safety. In addition, endless combinations involving several balance beams are possible using hook-and-loop fasteners.
