The Sport-Thieme trapeze bar
The trapeze bar can easily be attached to any gymnastics rings via the hooks, and thanks to the welded-on side eyelets, it can also be attached to other trapeze bars. It’s a great product for flying and swinging through the air. Silicone-covered hooks for protecting the rings are available on request.
Wooden trapeze bar
This trapeze bar is made of tough yet flexible ash. It is approx. 75 cm wide and has a diameter of 35 mm. It features hooks on either end, so it can be safely attached to gymnastics rings. The hooks are silicone-covered to prevent the rings from getting damaged. Welded-on side eyelets allow other trapeze bars to be attached. The wooden trapeze bar is only suitable for indoor use and must not be subjected to a load that is greater than approx. 80 kg. Please note: The rings and ropes must be ordered separately.
Stainless steel trapeze bar
This trapeze bar is made of V2A nirosta. It is approx. 77 cm wide and has a diameter of 35 mm. Either end of the trapeze features two welded-on eyelets. The trapeze bar can be attached to gymnastics rings using snap hooks, which feature a silicone sleeve to prevent the rings from getting damaged. The eyelets facing the floor allow further trapeze bars to be attached. The stainless steel trapeze bar is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and must not be subjected to a load that is greater than approx. 150 kg. Please note: The rings and ropes must be ordered separately.
Sport-Thieme recommends: Covering the trapeze bar with some tape will give you more grip!
Using a trapeze in gymnastics
Using a trapeze in gymnastics is an adventure that will allow you to glide and whizz through the air as never before. You will be able to carry out a variety of different movements including swinging, rocking, supporting, balancing, jumping, hanging and other interesting movements.
